Feature Documentary

One of the most remarkable highlights of my career was the moment of standing on stage during the opening night of Sundance and receiving applause for my contributions as an Additional Editor on the acclaimed Firelight/PBS feature documentary - "Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution." This unforgettable experience propelled me towards numerous opportunities, where I further honed my skills as an Assistant Editor on a multitude of compelling historical PBS documentaries. Recognized for my exceptional ability to ingest, organize, and efficiently recall vast archives of footage, I have played a pivotal role in the production of over 20 feature documentaries.

As a Creative Assistant Editor, my primary focus revolves around collaborating on feature documentaries that captivate audiences with their rich storytelling. Below is a curated list of some of the notable projects I have been privileged to be a part of. I have a passion for finding the perfect content for each edit, facilitating feedback requests from directors, and temp VFX / SFX. Additionally, I serve as a trusted consultant, offering invaluable insights into the post-production pipeline for complex, multi-year documentary projects. Furthermore, I excel in the organization and management of extensive secondary materials (archival, music, photos, etc), ensuring a streamlined and efficient workflow.
